1. Find your target
The first essential step to achieve our objective is to know who we’re going to address our content. For this reason, we have to ask ourselves who our target is and focus on them. You mustn’t forget that your followers are the base of your pyramid.
2. Choose your channel
When you have already found your niche, it’s most important to find out where the people in that niche moves. The reason is simple, you have to pick the social media network that your audience spends the most time.
Inside every social media network, you can also find different parts and communities, and you have to know where is located your own niche but also your competitors, if you know where your competitors are you know where your niche is.
And finally, you have to engage with your audience, get to know what your niche wants and adapt your content to give them what they want.
3.Unic content
As you know, there are a lot of accounts (about food, fashion, travel…) with many followers, You should be able to have something especial, to give different meanings to your content, to seduce your followers.
4. Promote
It’s true that when you have followers you spend much time creating content but you can’t forget the promotion. Remember, it’s 20% content creation and 80% promotion.
5. Be consistent
One important point is to be consistent posting photos, your content should be the same way. Furthermore you need to give your audience a reason to subscribe. If you don’t create new content, on a consistent schedule, why would they need to subscribe? They’re not missing anything.
6. Evaluate your progress
As you keep moving forward and getting more followers you have to constantly analyze your results. Most media channels give you insights and analytics to monitor your progress.
Having information can let you know when to post, how, where, etc…
7. Be true to yourself
The most important step you have to focus a lot on is beeing true to yourself. If you express and share what you feel, you will be able to transmit that feeling to your followers, and if you fake it, you’ll never be able to really engage with them. So to sum up, always share what you feel and your followers will engage with you.
